August, 2009 sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of SAIC-VW amounted to 65,354 units, up 110.42% year on year, the first on August, 2009 sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 64,764 units, up 72.63% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 420,332 units. August sales of SAIC-GM reached 62,172 units, increasing 93.17% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 397,872 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
