August, 2017 sales ranking of A sedan

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the New Excelle amounted to 36,418 units, up 10.92% year on year, the first on August, 2017 sales ranking of A sedan, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Sylphy amounted to 35,565 units, up 26.86% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 241,763 units. August sales of the Jetta reached 34,864 units, decreasing 4.68% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 207,754 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
