August, 2023 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of FAW-VW amounted to 151,027 units, down 7.04% year on year, the first on August, 2023 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of SAIC-VW amounted to 110,033 units, down 13.84% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 712,332 units. August sales of SAIC-GM reached 88,001 units, decreasing 26.73% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 624,265 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
