FF 91 said to be priced at RMB 2 million in China

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On Monday, reports said that the first production model of Faraday Future may be priced at about RMB 2 million for China consumers and the company will start to deliver vehicles at the end of this year. The company has already begun the presale on its website with a down payment of RMB 50,000.

Previously, the electric vehicle start-up has denied the report of FF 91’s price to be about RMB 910,000. As to the new reports about price in China market, the company declined to comment. With a battery electric power system, FF 91 is claimed to have a maximum power of 1,050 horsepower, much more powerful than Tesla models.

Before the Spring Festival Holiday, Faraday Future held a supplier conference with over 200 attendees. A partner of the company revealed that positioned as a luxury electric vehicle brand, FF 91 outstrips Tesla in power and performance and are comparable with Bentley and Rolls-Royce in interior and features. The partner said FF 91's price in the United States is likely to be about $250,000. 

At the supplier conference, Jia Yueting revealed that it had managed to raise 1.5 billion dollars for the first time. In order to boost morale of suppliers, Jia also announced the company’s strategic goal and the measures to achieve it.
