WM Motor's monthly deliveries hit new highs of 5,025 units in Oct.
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese EV startup WM Motor said its monthly new vehicle delivery volume reached a record high of 5,025 units in October 2021, which were 67.3% higher than that of the year-ago period.

For the first 10 months of 2021, WM Motor delivered 34,068 vehicles, representing a 101.7% robust year-over-year increase.
Cumulative deliveries had amounted to 78,597 vehicles as of Oct. 2021 since the company kicked off car delivery in Sept. 2018.
Freeman Shen, founder, Chairman, and CEO of WM Motor, said the company has kept strengthening its presence in the mainstream passenger vehicle segment priced between 150,000 yuan ($23,420) and 250,000 yuan ($39,030) by launching products like the EX5 and the W6, which offer outstanding intelligence experience and feature reasonable manufacturing costs.
Last month, WM Motor's first all-electric sedan, the M7, made its debut, and is expected for volume production and delivery in 2022. The M7 will be equipped with 32 top-level sensors, including three autonomous zoom high-precision super-view LiDAR detectors and seven 8-megapixel ultra-high-definition cameras with a maximum detection range of over 600 meters. Besides, it will also carry four Orin-X autonomous driving chips, which are capable of a computing power of up to 1,016 TOPS.
WM Motor is about to ship the second OTA for its W6 SUV with such new functions as HAVP (Home Automated Valet Parking)-enabled obstacle and parallel parking, APA (Automated Parking Assist, RPA (Remote Parking Asist), and PAVP (Public Automated Valet Parking) added.
