Human Horizons to start presale of mass-produced HiPhi Z at Auto China 2022

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The production version of the HiPhi Z, the second flagship model of Chinese electric vehicle brand HiPhi, will be launched at the Auto China 2022 in Beijing with its presale sale kicking off at the same time, and is expected for delivery next year, according to Human Horizons, who owns the brand.

Human Horizons unveiled in early November an all-new GT (Grand Tourer)—HiPhi Z—through a “fictional movie”. The GT is currently at its concept stage, and will be 95% representative of its production car from a design perspective, said the automaker.

Featuring a futuristic exterior inspired by “digital mecha", the mass-market version of the HiPhi Z will feature the world's first Star-Ring Intelligent Signal Display (ISD) light system, Electromagnetic NT Door, Active Aero Spoiler, Flexible Protective Wheels, as well as the industry's first shimmering trim together with interactive lighting band (ambient lighting on door panel) and backlit screen (2k panel), according to the company.

Besides, the carmaker touted a “digital soul” for the HiPhi Z, which is highlighted by the vehicle-mounted multi-axis displacement digital robot HiPhi Bot and the Unreal Engine 5—an advanced 3D rendering development engine offered by the world's leading game software company Epic Games.

The mass-produced HiPhi Z will be armed with the HiPhi Pilot driver assistance system and carry up to 31 sensors across the car body, including a LiDAR unit, two 8 mega-pixel cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and two infrared night-vision cameras.
