As of Nov. 2021, the EV manufacturer had posted month-over-month increase for the 7th month in a row.
The Nov. deliveries were merely contributed by the EV6, which hit the market in July this year. Positioned as a mid-sized all-electric SUV, the SKYWORTH EV6 came with four trim levels initially whose post-subsidy prices range from 152,800 yuan ($23,990) to 249,800 yuan ($39,225). The model welcomed two new variants in September and October respectively, both of which feature a combined range of 520km.
The EV6 mainly goes up against such rivals as the WM Motor's W6, the AIWAYS U5, and the Leapmotor C11.
As of Nov. 2021, SKYWORTH Auto had deployed 138 experience centers across China and its dealer lots had spread to 42 countries.
Sky-well New Energy Automobile Group Co. Ltd., a Nanjing-based new energy vehicle maker, announced in April 27 its electric passenger vehicle brand “Skywell” was renamed to “SKYWORTH Auto”. Accordingly, the ET5, the first model under Skywell, was renamed the SKYWORTH EV6.
SKYWORTH Auto said it eyes an annual sales volume of 1 million vehicles by 2030, 50% of which will be sold outside China.
