Li Auto delivers 14,087 vehicles in December
Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s new energy vehicle startup Li Auto set another new record for its monthly deliveries in the last month of 2021, the automaker announced on the first day of 2022.
Last month, Li Auto delivered 14,087 Li ONEs, representing a year-on-year surge of 130%, while its quarterly deliveries amounted to 35,221 vehicles, up 40.2% quarter over quarter and 143.5% year over year. The quarterly results were much higher than its outlook (between 30,000 and 32,000 vehicles) the company announced in November.
For the whole year, the company’s deliveries soared 177.4% year over year to 90,491 vehicles. The cumulative deliveries of the Li ONE totaled 124,088 vehicles since its deliveries started.

By the end of 2021, the company had a total of 206 retail stores in 102 cities, as well as 278 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops operating in 204 cities.
Last month, the company released the OTA 3.0 update to all its users, including full-stack, self-developed Navigation on ADAS (NOA), which allows over 60,000 users to enjoy safer and easier driving.
The X01, its second model, is expected to be unveiled in the second quarter of this year. In October last year, Li Auto officially commenced construction of its Beijing manufacturing base which is scheduled to be operational in 2023. By the end of 2023, the company’s maximum production capacity may be up to 700,000 vehicles.
