NIO’s deliveries in Jan. 2022 grow 33.6% YoY
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NIO delivered 9,652 new vehicles in January 2022, representing a 33.6% jump compared to the prior-year period, according to the startup's latest monthly sales results.
With 5,247 units delivered, the ES6 still served as NIO's biggest sales contributor last month. Besides, the deliveries of the ES8 and the EC6 stood at 1,531 and 2,874 units in Jan. respectively.
As of Jan. 2022, NIO had already delivered 176,722 vehicles in total, said the company.

The company is on track to rapidly expand its power network. By the end of Jan. 2022, the startup had built 836 Power Swap stations, 3,766 Power Chargers and 3,656 destination chargers.
Regarding the deployment of sales and services networks, NIO had already opened 42 NIO Houses, 341 NIO Spaces, 55 NIO Service Centers, and 180 authorized service centers across China as of Jan. 2022.
Last month, NIO released Aspen 3.0.5 NO, which is exclusively developed for Norway, to users in the local market, marking its first firmware over-the-air (FOTA) update outside of China.
NIO's smart auto operating system riding on the first-generation technology platform (NT1.0) is known as Aspen. The update will be pushed to all NIO ES8s currently sold in Norway armed with Aspen 3.0.0 NO, which is available in both English and Norwegian.
