SKYWORTH Auto to hit 30,000 vehicles of annual sales target in 2022

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese vehicle startup SKYWORTH Auto said it aims to sell 30,000 new vehicles and gain annual sales of over 4.5 billion yuan ($707.013 million) in 2022, with its presence to be strengthened in both domestic and overseas markets.

Regarding the plan for the launch of new products, the car manufacturer said it expects to start volume delivery of the all-electric model with a 600-km range in the first quarter, and the hybrid model featuring a range of up to 1,200km is set to be put into scale delivery in the third quarter of this year. Besides, the company intends to complete the styling works for the premium model code-named CE11.

In 2022, SKYWORHT Auto will enter a critical stage for the goal of going public on the Science and Technology Innovation Board (the "STAR" Market), said the company. To achieve the target, the automaker will make greater efforts on technical innovation to improve the intelligence and connectivity experience of the EV6 and strive to make breakthroughs in autonomous driving technology.

Moreover, SKYWORTH Auto noted it will vigorously push ahead with the software development for the vehicle models designed for overseas users, contributing to its offensive to European and American markets.

SKYWORTH Auto currently has one mass-produced model (the EV6) for sale. In December 2021, the automaker delivered 3,409 vehicles globally, representing month-on-month growth for the eighth month in a row.
