WM Motor has such production models for sale as the EX5, the EX6, the W6, and the E.5. Of them, the E.5 hit the market in September 2021 to mainly serve business users. According to the registrations compiled by Gasgoo Auto Research Institute, the model became the biggest contributor to the startup's monthly new vehicle registrations in both January and February this year.
According to the EV maker, the E.5's refreshed model will go on sale on April 15 and private users are also allowed to buy it. All trim levels of the new E.5 will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch dual-screen, the Living Mate smart cockpit system, and the Living Pilot smart assistant driving system.
WM Motor also joined the lineup of the automaker who raised NEV prices due to the chip shortage and the hike in raw materials prices. On March 19, the automaker announced the post-subsidy prices of existing models would be lifted by 7,000 yuan ($1,100) to 26,000 yuan ($4,090) on March 28.
