NIO scores 60.3% YoY surge in June 2022 deliveries

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NIO delivered 12,961 vehicles in June 2022, posting a year-on-year surge of 60.3%, the company announced today.

The June deliveries consisted of 8,612 SUVs, including 1,684 ES8s, 5,100 ES6s and 1,828 EC6s, as well as 4,349 ET7 sedans.

In the second quarter of 2022, NIO's new vehicle deliveries added up to 25,059 units, rising 14.4% year on year, while dropping 2.8% quarter over quarter.

By the end of June 30, 2022, the startup's cumulative deliveries had amounted to 217,897 vehicles, 50,827 units of which were delivered this year.

On June 15, NIO officially launched its all-new mid-large five-seater smart electric SUV, the ES7, which is the first production model to ride on the NIO Technology 2.0 (“NT2.0”) platform. Pre-order started on the NIO App at the same time. The ES7 is scheduled for delivery from August 28, 2022.

According to NIO, the ES7 is one of the first certified passenger vehicles in China to be able to tow a caravan or a trailer. It can supply power to towed equipment.

At the launch ceremony, NIO also launched the 2022 ES8, ES6, and EC6 equipped with the NIO's Alder Digital System. The three refreshed models are expected for delivery in August this year as well.
