NIO-backed battery assets operator Mirattery forges partnerships with many firms

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Mirattery (Chinese name: Wuhan Weineng), NIO's battery asset management joint venture, on July 12 signed cooperation agreements with a slew of auto industrial chain players to boost development of the battery service industry.

The new partners announced by Mirattery include JAC Group's Sehol New Energy, Zeqing New Energy, Geely-backed Soland Energy, CIRI Auto Technology Institute ("CIRI"), Dinghe Insurance, Automotive Data of China Co., Ltd. (“ADC”), etc.

The newly-agreed cooperation projects are related to many sections of Mirattery's BaaS service, such as battery asset management solutions and resource recycling solutions. Through the extensive partnerships, Mirattery will deploy its BaaS service in more application scenarios.

By virtue of the partnership with Sehol New Energy, Mirattery will provide its BaaS battery rental service and develop a reliable cloud-based management solution for the battery assets of the latter's battery swappable models.

Besides, Mirattery will provide Zeqing New Energy with a whole set of BaaS service solutions, which involve battery technologies, and the capabilities of data intelligence and battery asset management.

The cooperation with ADC, a subsidiary of China Automotive Technology and Research Center  ("CATARC"), allows both parties to co-conduct strategic cooperation on the construction of new energy vehicle power batteries' lifecycle data system, the evaluation of batteries' health status and residual value, and other businesses.
