Geely’s ZEEKR releases images of ZEEKR 009 MPV

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle ("EV") brand of Geely Holding, released some photos last Friday to show the side profile, rear end, and light clusters of the ZEEKR 009, its yet-to-be-launched all-electric MPV model.

The daytime running light is dubbed “the Crease of Light” by the automaker.

The side view is characterized by several flat lines, a quasi-floating roof, and multi-spoke wheels, accentuating the essence of sports.

The rear light cluster features the in-vogue design that allows a light strip to run across the vehicle's width. Besides, a slew of tiny vertical light bars make the vehicle look more recognizable.

Positioned as a full-sized MPV model, the ZEEKR 009 measures 5,209mm long, 2,024 wide, and 1,856 tall, with a wheelbase that spans 3,205mm.

The seating layout has not been announced yet.

The automaker said the ZEEKR 009 would have a range of over 700km under an NEDC test cycle.

Riding on Geely's SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, the ZEEKR 009 will take on such models as the DENZA D9, the Buick GL8, and the VOYAH Dreamer.

ZEEKR currently has one production model for sale, the ZEEKR 001. In July, ZEEKR saw the monthly deliveries of the ZEEKR 001 hit a new high of 5,022 units, growing 16.74% from the previous month.

By the end of July 2022, ZEEKR had cumulatively delivered 30,039 vehicles, 24,032 units of which were delivered in the first seven months of this year.
