Besides, the UNDP will exert its professional insights and influences in the field of business investment themed sustainable development to coordinate resources from multiple industrial participants, in a bid to co-boost with NIO the formulation of the standards, guidance, and catalogues related to green ecosystem investment and biodiversity protection.

Moreover, NIO and the UNDP will team up on supporting young entrepreneurs in rolling out more commercial solutions about protection of biodiversity and the ecological environment.

NIO announced the “Clean Parks” initiative on December 18, 2021 to support more nature reserves across the world in adopting smart EVs, constructing clean energy infrastructure, and formulating clean and low-carbon energy circulation to protect the authenticity and integrity of ecosystems.

With the support of the UNDP, the Clean Parks open platform will attach a special focus on such targets set by the United Nations, including clean energy, climate change, as well as protection of underwater and terrestrial creatures.
