Li Auto’s first L9 SUV comes off production line
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Li Auto saw the first mass-produced vehicle of its second production model, the Li L9, roll off the assembly line at the plant in Changzhou city, Jiangsu province on August 18.
The new energy vehicle ("NEV") startup launched the Li L9 on June 21. The model is a six-seater full-sized flagship SUV designed for family users. The L9 features the company's in-house developed range extension and chassis systems, which can provide an excellent drivability with a CLTC range of 1,315 kilometers and a WLTC range of 1,100 kilometers.

Besides, the Li L9 also carries the automaker's self-developed autonomous driving system, Li AD Max, and a host of safety measures to protect drivers and passengers. Its five-screen, three-dimensional interactive intelligent cockpit is designed to offer sound driving and entertainment experience.
With a retail price of 459,800 yuan ($67,790), the Li L9 is now open for reservation with test drives available from July 16. Delivery is about to begin nationwide soon.
At the earnings call held after the issue of Q2 2022 financial results, Li Xiang, CEO and chairman of Li Auto, revealed the company expected to deliver over 10,000 L9s next month.
