HOZON Auto to deliver NETA E coupe in first half of 2023

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The NETA E, the second production model to ride on HOZON Auto's Shanhai platform, is scheduled for volume production and delivery in the first half of 2023, Zhang Yong, CEO of HOZON Auto, said on Dec. 16 via his twitter-like Weibo account.

The NETA E is positioned as a two-door coupe, which measures 4,704mm long, 1,980 wide, and 1,418mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,770mm, according to the information submitted to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology ("MIIT").

The NETA E features a dynamic body proportion that is close to a traditional oil-fueled sports car. Its lower center of gravity and the 50:50 weight distribution on the front and rear axles should be partly attributed to the removal of engine and transmission, and installation of a battery pack.

According to the data from the MIIT, the full-electric NETA E comes with two power solutions. The RWD version carries an electric motor that is good for 170kW and features a CLTC range of 560km. Equipped with an 170kW electric motor at both the front and rear axles with a combined output of 340kW, the AWD variant is able to zip from 0-100km/h within around 3 seconds and features a range of 580km under the CLTC test cycle.
