Changan Auto kicks off presale of UNI-V iDD, UNI-K iDD

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Changan Auto officially kicked off presale of the UNI-V iDD and UNI-K iDD, the PHEV versions of the UNI-V and the UNI-K,  on February 11, which further enriched the company’s new energy vehicle lineup.

The UNI-V iDD comes with two trim levels, which features a respective presale price of 144,900 yuan and 159,900 yuan. Meanwhile, the UNI-K iDD offers four variants with a presale price range of 187,900 yuan to 215,900 yuan. Both models will officially hit the market in March 2023, said Changan Auto.

The UNI-V iDD is a coupe sedan with a fastback and electric-controlled spoiler. On the outside, it is no different from the original oil-fueled version, except for the addition of the exclusive iDD logo on the rear and a charging port.

The UNI-V iDD is equipped with Changan Auto’s signature Blue Whale NE1.5T hybrid-specific engine, with a peak torque of 260 N·m. Combined with the Blue Whale six-speed electric drive transmission, the maximum combined torque of the vehicle can reach 590 N·m, with a o-100km/h acceleration time of 6.5s.

The car is also equipped with an 18.4kWh battery, with an NEDC pure-electric range of 113km, and a combined NEDC range of 1,100km, supporting both DC fast charging and AC charging.

On the other hand, the UNI-K iDD is a five-seater SUV, inheriting the borderless design of the original oil-fueled version which is paired with a brand-new exclusive glowing logo.  

In terms of power, the UNI-K iDD is also installed with the Blue Whale NE1.5T hybrid engine, and is equipped with a 28.39Kwh lithium iron phosphate power battery, with an NEDC pure-electric range of 135 km and a combined range of 1,000km.
