GAC AION launches time-limited free charging service for AION App users

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On Feb. 14, GAC AION announced the launch of a significant promotion that allows AION App’s users to enjoy free charging services at selected charging stations or charging piles in 18 cities for two and a half months.

The automaker said the NEV users of the brands not limited to AION can get the opportunity for free services during designated times or fully free charging (free of charge for both electricity and service fees) via AION’s mobile application.

In addition, users can also obtain additional free charging sessions by inviting friends to use the AION App.

The first batch of the free charging stations under the project has already been put into operation in such cities as Guangzhou, Haikou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Ningbo, Tianjin, Chengdu, Wuhan, and Zhengzhou.

During the two-and-a-half-month promotion, users in Chengdu city only have three times of opportunities to enjoy fully free charging. Starting from Feb. 16, in other cities, free electricity will be available every Thursday and free services on other days.

The second-batch campaign will kick off on Feb. 19, extending the reach to Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Qingdao, Nanjing, Chongqing, Xi’an, Changsha, and other cities.
