Geely-backed ZEEKR sees monthly deliveries zoom up 87.1% YoY in Feb. 2023

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand of Geely, delivered 5,455 vehicles in Feb. 2023, representing an 87.1% year-on-year soar and a 75.1% month-on-month surge, according to a press release ZEEKR issued on Wednesday.

As of Feb. 2023, ZEEKR had cumulatively delivered 86,519 vehicles in total, 8,571 units of which were delivered this year.The premium car brand currently has two models for sale, namely, the ZEEKR 001 and the ZEEKR 009, which recorded an average per car order value of 336,000 yuan and 527,000 yuan, respectively.

On February 3rd, ZEEKR officially announced the name of its third model—ZEEKR X, a new luxury SUV built on the SEA architecture. As an A-segment pure electric SUV, the ZEEKR X measures 4,450mm in length, 1,836mm in width, and 1,572mm in height, with an industry-leading 2,750mm wheelbase designed for various urban scenarios.

ZEEKR announced on Feb. 13 the completion of its Series A financing, which bagged for the company $750 million and raised its market valuation to $13 billion.

The proceeds from the new financing will be mainly used for the R&D of products and technologies, the development of global businesses, and the improvement of user experience.
