NETA Auto to start presale of NETA GT sports car at Auto Shanghai 2023

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NETA Auto, the Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker under the company HOZON Auto, will begin presale of the NETA GT, its fire new two-door four-seater all-electric sports car, at the forthcoming Auto Shanghai 2023 next week, according to a local media outlet.

According to earlier reports, the new model is expected for delivery in the second half of this year.

In terms of exterior, the NETA GT is built with a design language similar to that of the NETA S. The slender headlight design is very eye-catching, and the internal lighting source layout is also highly recognizable. The front bumper features the trendy three-section design, optimizing the vehicle's aerodynamic performance.

The rear design is somewhat restrained compared to the front. The taillights do not adopt the currently popular through-type design. Instead, they are equipped with a ring-shaped light strip. Additionally, the new car will also carry an electric spoiler to fit its sports car essence.

On the inside, the NETA GT adopts a minimalist style that is quite popular in today's electric vehicle market. A vertically-oriented central screen dominates the car's interior, and on the center console, there are only a flat-bottomed sport steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, and the central screen, without excessive decorative elements.

In addition, as an electric sports car, the frameless doors and sport seats are also must-have niceties.

The NETA GT measures 4,715mm long, 1,979mm wide, 1,415mm tall, with a wheelbase that spans 2,770mm. The new model will reportedly come with two powertrain solutions. The single-motor version is good for up to 170kW, while the AWD one is powered by two electric motors with a combined peak output of 340kW. In terms of range, the NETA GT will be offered with such options as 580km and 660km.
