NIO starts presale of all-new ES6 at Auto Shanghai 2023

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese new energy vehicle startup NIO on April 18 kicked off presale of its all-new ES6 model at the Auto Shanghai 2023.

The new smart electric SUV adopts NIO’s second-generation design language of "Design for AD". Coming with ten exterior colours, including the unique shades of Galaxy Shadow and Sunlight Gold, the all-new ES6 will officially be on the market and delivered to users in late May this year.

At this year’s Auto Shanghai, NIO also launched the 2023 facelift of the ET7, the company’s smart electric flagship sedan. The 2023 ET7 boasts more than 15 upgrades in interior details and intelligence features. The 2023 ET7 is now available for order in China, with an expected start of delivery in mid-May.

Aside from the vehicles, NIO also put its innovative N-Box on display for the first time. The N-Box is a cutting-edge entertainment console which acts like the "entertainment brain" of NIO's PanoCinema digital cockpit. Equipped with robust computing power, advanced video encoding and decoding capabilities, the N-Box supports experience of multi-player AR and allows plug-and-play connection with tablets and other portable devices.

In addition, the third-generation NIO Power Swap Station is also brought to the Auto Shanghai 2023, providing live demonstrations of the latest breakthroughs in power solutions. Visitors can also access real-time information on over 1,300 Power Swap Stations in China via an operation and maintenance screen on the site.

More highlights of NIO at the Auto Shanghai 2023 also include NIO Innovations, showcasing milestones and patents in R&D, and a lineup display of EP9, the electric supercar, and five latest models derived from the second-generation NIO technology platform. Notably, the EC7 smart electric flagship coupe SUV and the ES8 smart electric all-round flagship SUV are also on display at the Auto Shanghai, with deliveries starting soon.
