IM Motors delivers 2,009 vehicles in Apr. 2023

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- IM Motors, the premium electric vehicle (EV) maker backed by SAIC Motor, Alibaba Group, and Zhangjiang High-Tech, delivered 2,009 vehicles in Apr. 2023, the automaker announced earlier this week.

Of the vehicles delivered last month, 1,930 units were the IM LS7 SUVs, which were 7 units fewer than its Mar. deliveries.

The aforesaid data indicates that there were only 79 IM L7 full-sized sedans delivered last month.

Hitting the market on Feb. 10, the LS7 is the second production model of IM Motors. It comes with six trim levels, which are priced between 309,800 yuan and 459,800 yuan.

Positioned as a full-sized SUV, the IM LS7 measures 5,049mm long, 2,002mm wide, and 1,731/1,763/1,773mm tall, with a wheelbase that spans 3,060mm. The five-seater SUV has a spacious 1,030-mm headroom.

IM Motors said the IM LS7 has become a well-deserved "hot-selling model" due to its comprehensive innovation from the hardware and software architecture, bringing users a future-oriented and highly disruptive driving experience. For example, the LS7 features a huge front dome that provides a 106-degree vertical field of view, creating an "IMAX-level cockpit view". The YAT half-spoke steering wheel, as well as the towering immersive intelligent scene screen, allow for unobstructed vision and unimpeded interaction.

In terms of intelligent driving features, IM Motors' top-of-the-line vehicle control system and advanced algorithms provide users with a "more human-like" intelligent driving experience. Regarding intelligent hardware, the IM AD intelligent driving system adopts the "Falcon-style" dual laser radar layout, combined with the high computing power of NVIDIA's OrinX chip. Meanwhile, based on the industry's first D.L.P. artificial intelligence model, the IM AD expressway/elevated-used NOA will be officially rolled out to LS7 users in June, aiming to offer users a premium intelligent driving experience similar to having a chauffeur.
