NETA S has two new all-electric variants put onto market

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On May 9, NETA Auto, a Chinese electric vehicle brand under HOZON Auto, put two new pure-electric variants of its NETA S sedan onto the market, further lowering the entry-level price of the model.

The two new variants, named the NETA S 520 and 520 Lite, are priced at 199,800 yuan and 189,800 yuan, respectively.

Meanwhile, the automaker announced that customers who place orders before June 30th will receive a limited-time offer of a free upgrade to executive-level electric adjustable rear seats, as well as benefits such as financial subsidies, free charging, and lifetime free warranty for batteries, electric motors, and electric control units. Returning car owners can also enjoy a limited-time bonus of 10,000 yuan for buying additional cars.

Positioned as a mid-to-large sedan, the NETA S hit the market on July 31, 2022 with eight trim levels offers, including five all-electric variants and three range-extended electric ones.

Upon the model’s entry into the market, the NETA S featured a price range of 199,800 yuan to 338,800 yuan. The advent of the 520 Lite decreased the minimum price to 189,800 yuan.

The newly launched NETAS 520 Lite and 520 models continue the design of the NETA S in terms of exterior appearance, with details such as frameless sport doors and pop-out door handles creating a strong sporty atmosphere. In addition, both variants are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 high-performance automotive-grade chips.

In terms of comfort, the two new versions carry a 1.9-square-meter panoramic heat-insulating sunroof, wireless charging for mobile phones, and executive-level seats with heating and memory functions. In addition, both of them feature the V2L function, with a discharge power of 3.3kW.

Regarding power, both the NETA S 520 and 520 Lite are equipped with an electric motor that is good for 170kW and 310 N·m of peak torque, featuring a CLTC-rated range of 520km.
