According to Li Auto, the maximum output power of its 4C supercharging pile can reach 480kW. Together with CATL’s 4C Qilin battery and Li Auto’s self-developed SiC, which will be installed onto the company’s first all-electric model to be launched at the end of this year, it can supply 400-km range with 10-minute charging session. Its 2C fast-charging pile enables a peak charging output of 250kW, which allows Li Auto’s REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) to be charged from 20% to 80% of its battery capacity in only 30 minutes.
At the latest quarterly earnings call, Li Xiang, Li Auto’s CEO, said that the company plans to deploy 300 charging stations along expressways by the end of 2023, and aims to lift the number to 3,000 by 2025.
