NETA Auto celebrates inauguration of global headquarters

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NETA Auto, a Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker under HOZON Auto, recently inaugurated its global headquarters, which is located in the Putuo District of Shanghai.

In addition to serving as the central hub for strategic planning, resource allocation, decision-making, coordination, and guidance of the company's global operations, NETA Auto's global headquarters also encompasses four key functions, namely, the flagship experience center, the intelligent R&D center, the data center, and the service center.

The partnership between NETA Auto and the Putuo District has deep roots. In September 2021, both entities entered into a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to accelerate the development of new energy vehicles, promote the upgrade and transformation of the regional industrial structure, and strive for collaborative development, complementary advantages, and mutual benefits.

In 2022, Nezha Auto achieved a remarkable feat, as its annual sales volume reached an impressive 152,073 vehicles, securing the top position among Chinese NEV startups. Following closely behind were Li Auto with 133,246 vehicles sold throughout the year, and NIO with a total sales figure of 122,486 vehicles.

Although NETA Auto experienced a slight sales decline during December of last year and January this year, it swiftly rebounded and solidified its position. In April 2023, the company delivered 11,080 new vehicles in total.
