EVE Energy, Ronbay Technology ally on development, innovation of battery cathode materials

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Ningbo Ronbay Lithium Battery Material Co., Ltd. (“Ronbay Technology”), a Chinese lithium battery cathode materials provider, announced on May 29 that it has signed an agreement with China’s main lithium battery supplier EVE Energy to conduct strategic cooperation in the fields of battery and relevant materials.  

The cooperation will encompass the product development, technology advancement, market exploration, and supply chain development in such areas as high-nickel ternary, lithium iron phosphate manganese, and other cathode materials.

Additionally, both parties will collaborate on the development of next-generation batteries and materials for future applications, emphasizing new product innovation and technology advancements.

Furthermore, as part of the cooperation, the two companies will establish a mechanism for high-level exchanges to discuss and share strategic development goals and plans. This will facilitate the formulation of comprehensive development and operational plans that align with the respective growth trajectories of both companies.

Leveraging its advantageous customer resources, EVE Energy will support Ronbay Technology in achieving scale production and improving production capacity utilization. Meanwhile, Ronbay Technology will hammer out more specific plans in terms of production capacity, product development, supply chain expansion, resource recycling, and overseas patent layout to enable both companies to secure leading market shares in end markets such as power, energy storage, and digital.

Ronbay Technology highlighted in the announcement that EVE Energy has taken the lead in establishing the layout for the high-energy density ternary cylindrical and lithium iron phosphate manganese batteries in China. This signing marks the potential for Ronbay Technology's high-nickel ternary cathode materials to enter the mass supply stage for EVE Energy’s 46 Series cylindrical batteries, enabling large-scale commercial applications in long-range electric vehicle models.
