JAC Yiwei EV3 to hit market on June 16

Beijing (Gasgoo)- JAC Group's new energy vehicle-dedicated brand, Yiwei, is set to launch its first production model, the EV3 (Yiwei 3 in Chinese pinyin), on June 16.

The vehicle has already kicked off pre-sale with prices ranging from 97,900 yuan to 129,900 yuan. The EV3 is a compact sedan, showcasing a fresh and captivating design inspired by the concept of a "Bubble Universe" aesthetic, characterized by rounded, full, and flowing lines that exude an inviting appeal.

The EV 3 is built on the DI platform, and is equipped with the world's first 9-in-1 electric drive system and a zero-heat-diffusion honeycomb battery, forming an exceptionally powerful powertrain. Currently, the EV 3 offers two versions with a respective range of 405 km and 505 km, and comes in six different configurations.

The interior of the EV3 draws inspiration from a spaceship cockpit, with a two-spoke steering wheel and a 15.6-inch central control screen equipped with Yiwei OS. The brand-new Yiwei OS intelligent cabin system, featuring a user-friendly UI design, offers powerful computing capabilities, an open connected ecosystem, and over 100 freely combinable services.
