GAC Energy completes supercharging project in railway station of Longyan city

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 13, 2023, GAC Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "GAC Energy") and Longyan Transportation Development Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Longyan Transportation") held a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the supercharging project at the Longyan Railway Station.

On May 10, 2023, the municipal government of Longyan city, Fujian province, and GAC Group signed a cooperation agreement to reach a series of consensus on strengthening industrial project cooperation and accelerating the progress of projects such as lithium battery production, automotive industry chain, lithium resources, and lithium battery materials.

The charging project at Longyan Railway Station is the first cooperative project jointly built by GAC Energy and Longyan Transporation. The project is located in the underground parking lots A2 and A5 of Longyan Railway Station, with a total of 28 DC fast charging points.

Construction of the project started on June 16 and was completed in just 28 days, involving the installation of charging facilities and cables, equipment debugging, acceptance, and commissioning.

The completion of this project holds significant importance in promoting the development of the electric vehicle (EV) charging, battery swapping, and energy storage market, as well as the new energy vehicle industry in Longyan City.

In the future, both parties will fully leverage their advantages in equipment technology, land resources, construction, and platform operations to collaborate comprehensively in the field of EV charging and battery swapping. Seizing the opportunity for the large-scale development of renewable energy resources, they will jointly construct and promote the integration of the new energy and automotive industries, facilitating the green transformation and upgrading of the automotive sector, said GAC Group.
