Great Wall Motor introduces TANK 500 SUV to Bahrain

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, Great Wall Motor ("GWM")'s TANK 500 off-road SUV officially landed in its fourth destination in the Middle East market – Bahrain, according to a post on GWM's WeChat account. 

Since May of this year, the TANK 500 successively went on sale in various countries in the Middle East, with launch events held within three weeks in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.

According to GWM’s statement, this strategic approach has effectively amplified regional awareness and garnered positive feedback from local media and consumers.

In 2019, GWM established a partnership with Tasheelat Automotive Company (TAC), a subsidiary of Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company (BCFC), to serve as its distributor in Bahrain. TAC has consistently upheld exceptional standards in sales, service, spare parts, customer relationship management, and customer satisfaction, aligning perfectly with GWM' comitment to enhancing overseas services, improving service quality, and optimizing the overall customer experience.

GWM is actively driving the accelerated international expansion of its new energy products, contributing to the profound development of overseas markets. The company's overseas sales for the first half of this year reached an impressive volume of 123,930 units, soaring 97.27% year on year.

The rapid introduction of intelligent new energy vehicles into overseas markets has been witnessed in the first half of this year as well. Models such as the Haval H6 HEV, the ORA Good Cat, the TANK 300, and the TANK 500 have successfully entered markets in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Chile, Australia, Madagascar, and more.
