Geely’s AEROFUGIA to supply Sino Jet with eVTOLs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 26, AEROFUGIA, an electric aviation technology company under Geely Technology Group, along with the leading investor Tsinghua Holdings Capital and other participating investors, celebrated the successful completion of its first strategic round of financing, according to a post on the company’s WeChat account.

Meanwhile, AEROFUGIA and Sino Jet signed a strategic agreement, with the former set to become the core electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) provider for the latter.

At the event, AEROFUGIA's CEO, Guo Liang, and Sino Jet' General Manager of the Strategic Department, Wang Chao, inked a purchase agreement for the first batch of 100 AE200 aircrafts.

This collaboration with Sino Jet marks the first innovative partnership between domestic eVTOL and executive aviation players. In the future, both parties will leverage their operational and supply chain strengths to actively advance the continuous airworthiness certification of eVTOL, the construction of eVTOL vertical take-off and landing airports, and the progress of route operations, providing systematic solutions for commercial low-altitude three-dimensional travel.

eVTOL is an innovative aviation transportation vehicle known for its safety, reliability, environmental friendliness, and economic efficiency, featuring low take-off and landing site requirements and zero carbon emissions due to its pure electric propulsion.
