Li Auto’s Li L9 Pro hits market, starting at 429,800 yuan

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On August 3, Li Auto, a leading Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) startup, announced its Li L9's Pro edition has officially hit the market with a retail price starting at 429,800 yuan. Deliveries will commence within the month of August this year.

As the latest entry-level model in the Li L9 series, the Pro version comes with certain adjustments compared to the Max version. It is equipped with the AD Pro intelligent driving assistance system and features Horizon Robotics' Journey 5 chip. As a result, the price of the Li L9 Pro is 30,000 yuan lower than that of the L9 Max.

Specifically, the changes in the new version are similar to the configuration differences between the Li L7 and the Li L8 models. The major adjustments focus on the intelligent driving assistance features, and it's noticeable that the Li L9 Pro version lacks a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. However, the flagship features remain intact, including the 13.35-inch head-up display, the 15.7-inch OLED central control screen, the entertainment screens for both the front and rear passengers, the second-row seats with 4D vibration units, Dolby Atmos surround-sound technology, the refrigerator capable of both refrigeration and heat preservation, electric suction doors, and the sensor-driven tailgate.

In terms of powertrain, the new car continues to adopt a 1.5T engine as a range extender, with a front-wheel drive motor providing a maximum power output of 130kW and a rear-wheel drive motor offering up to 200kW of power. The combined output reaches an impressive 330kW, with peak torque reaching 620N·m. The Li L9 Pro can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.3 seconds. Its battery capacity stands at 44.5kWh (39.2kWh usable), complemented by a 65L fuel tank. Under CLTC conditions, the battery-only range is 215km, while the combined range can exceed 1,315km. Furthermore, its WLTC-rated range will exceed over 1,100km.
