AVATR to be the first auto brand to carry CATL’s Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 16, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, has emerged as the first automotive brand to integrate CATL's game-changing Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery into its lineup.

CATL unveiled its groundbreaking lithium iron phosphate 4C superfast charging battery, the Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery on the same day. The Shenxing Battery is capable of providing an impressive 400km range with a 10-minute charging session. With the escalating concern of range anxiety in the EV market, CATL’s innovative technology stands as a remarkable solution.

AVATR's selection as the flagship brand for the Shenxing battery is a testament to its commitment to innovation and collaboration. This achievement is rooted in the trailblazing "CHN Collaboration Model," developed in partnership with Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL. The CHN is also the new-generation smart EV technology platform of which AVATR rides on. 

The debut vehicle under the CHN platform, the AVATR 11, is already equipped with CATL's CTP technology and high-voltage fast charging capabilities. It achieves an impressive 705km maximum driving range and can gain 200km of range with just a 10-minute charge.

CATL has confirmed that mass production of the Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery will commence by the end of 2023, with the market introduction set for the first quarter of 2024. Enthusiasts and industry insiders alike eagerly await the official unveiling of AVATR's model that will house this cutting-edge battery technology, marking a significant leap forward for both AVATR and the entire electric vehicle sector.
