ZEEKR announces foray into UAE, SA, Qatar and Bahrain

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 29, ZEEKR, a premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Auto Group, made a significant announcement regarding its expansion into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in the Middle East.

ZEEKR said it has inked national-level distribution agreements with prominent partners in the region, including AW Rostamani Holdings from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Wallan Trading Company from Saudi Arabia (SA), Blue Lake Motors from Qatar, and Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons from Bahrain. This collaborative effort aims to establish a robust sales and service network for ZEEKR in the four GCC nations.

The recent partnership with GCC countries signifies a strategic move as ZEEKR accelerates its journey towards the global automotive market.

In the international market, ZEEKR has already set foot in European markets such as Sweden, the Netherlands, and Germany. Additionally, it has signed agreements with partners in Israel and Kazakhstan.

Chen Yu, Vice President of ZEEKR Intelligent Technology, stated, “Customer demand for premium vehicles with new technologies is strong in the Middle East. All ZEEKR models are built on SEA architecture and developed for the global market. The cooperations we enter today mark a solid milestone for ZEEKR in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain markets. In the future, ZEEKR will work closely with partners and improve the local sales network, offering a more immersive experience to users.”

ZEEKR further disclosed its plans to expand its presence into eight additional international mainstream markets and regions this year, in addition to its presence in China and European markets. With a continued focus on the R&D of right-hand drive vehicles, ZEEKR's global footprint is set to broaden further in the future.
