GAC AION scores 85% YoY spike in Jan.-Oct. 2023 sales

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- GAC AION, the new energy vehicle subsidiaries of GAC Group, announced this week its monthly sales reached 41,503 units in October 2023, representing a 38% jump from the previous year.

For the first ten months of 2023, GAC Group’s cumulative sales amounted to 392,489 units, zooming up 85% compared to the same period a year earlier.

As of October, GAC AION has achieved nearly 80% of its annual sales target of 500,000 vehicles. In addition, according to an announcement from GAC Group, with the support of its high-end luxury brand, Hyper, GAC AION has managed to be profitable in four consecutive months from June to September.

On the product front, the AION S MAX and AION Y Plus Chao Ye Edition have been successively introduced, catering to the diverse car-buying needs of consumers.

In the high-end segment, the mid-sized SUV Hyper HT has initiated pre-sales, starting at 220,000 yuan. Within just 10 days of pre-sales, its number of orders reached 11,031 units.
