SAIC-backed SHPT joins hands with Air Products to promote commercialization of fuel cells

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On November 8, Shanghai Hydrogen Propulsion Technology Co., Ltd. (“SHPT”), a fuel cell tech company under SAIC Motor, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Air Products at the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE).

This partnership is expected to accelerate SHPT's development towards strengthening ecosystem cooperation and building a closed-loop industry chain. SHPT said it will collaborate with partners like Air Products in a more open and integrated way to boost fuel cell vehicle commercialization and jointly construct a more efficient, flexible and valuable hydrogen energy ecosystem.

By leveraging each other's strengths and market insights, the partners aim to jointly explore efficient, clean and economical commercial solutions for various scenarios, in order to provide customers with more competitive products and services.
