GAC AION puts Hyper HT mid-to-large all-electric SUV onto market

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On November 15, Hyper, the premium sub-brand under GAC AION, saw its first SUV model, the Hyper HT, officially hit the market. Coming with six trim levels, the model features a price range of 213,900 yuan to 329,900 yuan.

The Hyper HT represents the third addition to the Hyper lineup and stands as the brand's inaugural high-end all-electric SUV offering. Positioned as a mid-to-large all-electric SUV, the new model is crafted on the cutting-edge Hyper AEP3.0 BEV (battery electric vehicle)-dedicated platform and the Xingling electrical and electronic architecture.

The exterior design of the Hyper HT adopts the "human-machine symbiosis aesthetics" design philosophy. The overall aesthetic is both sleek and avant-garde, featuring a closed front grille complemented by fang-styled LED lights on either side, creating a visually striking effect. Notably, the design of the front headlights draws inspiration from the precision cutting techniques of gemstones, enhancing its visibility when illuminated.

An attention-grabbing feature is the uniquely equipped gull-wing doors, opening at a height of 2.3m with a horizontal opening space of only 34cm. This design not only adds an elegant touch but also facilitates easy entry and exit even in confined parking spaces.

The vehicle's side profile boasts a smooth, aerodynamic design with a significant sloping roof, coupled with a short rear wing, exuding the qualities of a coupe SUV. The model measures 4,935mm in length, 1,920mm in width, and 1,700mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,935mm.

The rear design maintains simplicity, with a taillight assembly running across the width of the car, when illuminated, presents a distinctive droplet pattern at both ends.

Inside, the Hyper HT adheres to a familial design language, enveloping the cabin in expansive soft-touch materials that exude a sense of luxury. The available color options include the classic black and white, along with the distinctive “Dunhuang Sand” variant.

In terms of technology, the Hyper HT is equipped with the ADiGO 5.0 human-machine interaction system, supporting features such as four-zone voice interaction. Additionally, the model features three second-generation variable focus laser radars and incorporates Huawei's high-performance AI chip, offering the "Highway + City" NDA (Navigated Driving Assist) system. The model also introduces the latest ADIGO SPACE 5.0 smart cockpit, featuring a 14.6-inch 2K central screenand 22 PremiumHIFI speakers.

Under the hood, the Hyper HT is powered by an electric motor at the rear axle, offering two power options—180kW/355 N·m and 250kW/430 N·m. The vehicle offers range choices of 550km, 600km, 670km, and 770km across its six available versions. Notably, the Hyper HT supports V2L (vehicle-to-load), catering to the needs of outdoor camping scenarios.

Addressing consumer concerns about charging and range, the Hyper HT introduces the 800V ultra-high voltage 5C flash charging, providing a remarkable 450km range with just a 10-minute charge. Coupled with the proprietary Quark Drive and a super-low drag coefficient of 0.245Cd, the Hyper HT achieves an impressive 770km of driving range.
