SAIC Motor’s Rising Auto puts 2024 Rising R7, Rising F7 Urban Edition onto market
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- As the Auto Guangzhou 2023 rose its curtain on November 17, Rising Auto, an electric passenger vehicle brand self-owned by SAIC Motor, put two refreshed models—the 2024 Rising R7 and the Rising F7 Urban Edition—onto the market.

The 2024 Rising R7 comes with three trim levels, which are priced between 189,900 yuan and 229,900 yuan.
The 2024 Rising R7, measuring 4,900mm/1,925mm/1,655mm in length, width, and height, introduces a streamlined design with a drag coefficient of 0.238Cd. Its aerodynamic features, including the forward-leaning design at the front and rear-wing panel ventilation holes, effectively minimize wind resistance, and creating a dynamic and sporty appeal. The wheelbase of 2,950mm ensures stability and comfort during drives.

The 2024 Rising R7 features the first-time application of the Rising Bach Cockpit, which is equipped with the Rising Bach Master steering wheel and immersive vector sound technology, promising an experience where "sound direction aligns with the user's attention direction at all times", said the automaker. Complementing this is the Huawei's AR-HUD, which is seamlessly integrated with intelligent cockpit and driving information.
Internally, the 2024 Rising R7 also boasts a range of cutting-edge features, including the 43-inch triple-screen setup, 360° panoramic imaging, 256-color linear ambient lighting, 1.855-square-meter integrated panoramic glass roof, streaming rearview mirror, and full-function SPA seats.
Under the hood, the 2024 Rising R7 is equipped with an electric motor at the rear axle, delivering a maximum power of 250kW, peak torque of 450N·m, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.8 seconds. The vehicle houses a 77kWh/90kWh ternary lithium battery, providing an impressive CLTC range of 570km/670km.

During the auto show, the Rising F7 Urban Edition also went on sale with a starting price of 189,900 yuan.
Rising Auto emphasizes that thanks to the energy management optimization of the Rising Wan Yu System, the CLTC range of the R7 series sees a substantial increase of up to 28km, reaching up to 670km. The F7 series achieves an increase of 36km, with its CLTC range rising to 702km.
