Tesla raises prices again in China, Model Y Long Range version up 2,000 yuan
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On Nov. 28, Tesla raised prices yet again in China, marking its fourth round of price increases this month alone.

According to Tesla's Chinese website, the Long Range version of the China-made Model Y now starts at 306,400 yuan, 2,000 yuan higher than its last adjusted price on November 21.
Previously on November 9, the price of the Model Y Long Range All-wheel-drive (AWD) version rose from 299,900 yuan to 302,400 yuan, while the refreshed Model 3 Long Range saw its price grow 1,500 yuan to 297,400 yuan.
Then on Nov. 14, Tesla lifted the new Model 3 Rear-wheel drive (RWD)'s price by 1,500 yuan to 261,400 yuan and the Model Y RWD’s price by 2,500 yuan to 266,400 yuan. By that moment, the entire China-made Model 3 and Y lineup had gone through incremental price hikes.
Winding back even earlier to October 27, Tesla had hiked the Model Y's Performance version by a steep 14,000 yuan to 363,900 yuan.
Apart from the price hikes, Tesla also unveiled end-of-year promotions from Nov. 28 to Dec. 31, encompassing low-interest loans, temporary insurance subsidies and referral rewards to spur order volume before 2023 concludes.
