JEVE sign framework agreement for investment in energy storage integration & production base project in Suihua city
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On December 1, JEVE, a Tianjin-headquartered technology company that integrates the R&D, manufacturing and sales of lithium-ion batteries, signed a framework agreement with the authority of Suihua Economic and Technological Development Zone regarding the proposed investment in the construction of the JEVE’s Energy Storage System Integration and Production Base.

The project envisions a total capacity of 15 GWh, with the first phase targeting 2 GWh. The construction plan spans five phases: the first focusing on the energy storage system integration base, followed by the establishment of an energy storage battery pack base, an energy storage component production capacity base, a high-altitude cold-weather testing lab, and finally, an energy storage cell manufacturing base.
According to the cooperative agreement, this initiative aims to create a clean energy demonstration project that seamlessly integrates wind, solar, storage, and manufacturing, optimizing their interaction. The goal is to construct an electricity grid-friendly, multi-energy complementary system, contributing valuable insights to the development of a new power structure dominated by renewable energy.
JEVE said it is committed to developing specialized products tailored to energy storage scenarios, including power-based, capacity-based, and energy-based products. These products find applications in various scenarios such as backup power, electricity generation through new energy, grid frequency/frequency regulation, user-side peak-valley regulation, and "photovoltaic-storage-charge" microgrids.
The collaboration between JEVE and the Suihua Economic and Technological Development Zone capitalizes on Suihua city's advantages in industry, talent, and location, coupled with JEVE's expertise in innovation, R&D, and manufacturing of new energy storage battery technology.
The fresh partnership marks JEVE's second major energy storage project signed this year. In April, JEVE signed a tripartite cooperation framework agreement with CNNP Rich Energy Co., Ltd. and Shandong Hi-speed Group, supplying energy storage equipment for the 1.5 GWh energy storage project in Lubei Base.
