NIO boasts 30.7% YoY jump in 2023’s full-year deliveries

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In December 2023, Chinese new energy vehicle maker NIO delivered 18,012 new vehicles, marking a 13.9% year-on-year (YoY) growth, accordingly to NIO's latest monthly delivery results.

For the entire fourth quarter of last year, the company achieved a remarkable 25.0% YoY growth, delivering a total of 50,045 new vehicles, surpassing its delivery guidance.

NIO's full-year performance in 2023 was equally impressive, with a total delivery of 160,038 new vehicles, reflecting a substantial 30.7% YoY growth.

As of December 31, 2023, NIO had cumulatively delivered 449,594 new vehicles.

NIO said it focused on enhancing its competitive edge throughout 2023.

For instance, its entire product lineup underwent a generational transition, with deliveries of new models such as the EC7, the all-new ES6, the ET5T, the all-new ES8, and the all-new EC6. It made NIO became the world's first intelligent electric vehicle brand to complete a vertical switch of its technical platform. Besides, the intelligent systems Aspen, Alder, and Banyan saw continuous iterations, releasing 26 versions, introducing 439 experience enhancements and optimizations. The comprehensive navigation assistance system NOP+ has reached nearly 320,000 kilometers of urban coverage distance across 208 cities.

At the NIO IN 2023 innovation day event, NIO unveiled a comprehensive roadmap featuring 12 full-stack technologies for its intelligent electric vehicles. The company officially introduced its pioneering all-domain vehicle operating system, SkyOS, and the inaugural self-developed chip product— the laser radar control chip named "Yang Jian." Additionally, NIO presented NIO Link, an all-encompassing interconnected system, and launched the cross-domain fusion supercomputing cluster, ADAM CCC, which has gone into volume production. Adding to the technological showcase, NIO released its first flagship smartphone, the NIO Phone.

At the 2023 NIO Day held last month, NIO officially released the self-developed intelligent driving chip, Shenji NX9031, the all-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, the SkyRide intelligent chassis system, and the four core technologies of its flagship safety standard. The NIO ET9, the brand's intelligent electric executive flagship sedan, was unveiled at the same time.
