The second phase will add a planned capacity of 20 GWh to produce high-quality power and energy storage batteries, with production expected to begin in 2026.

AESC initially partnered with the Cangzhou government in September 2022, committing to collaborate in areas such as smart batteries, intelligent energy industrial parks, and smart ports. These efforts aim to advance Cangzhou city's green industrial system and smart city development, supporting China and global zero-carbon transitions.

Under the agreement, AESC has established an intelligent battery manufacturing base in Cangzhou with a total planned annual capacity of 30 GWh. The factory's first phase, with 10 GWh capacity, began operation in November 2024. The first batch of products has been directly delivered to overseas clients, achieving "mass production for export."

Upon the full operation of both phases, the Cangzhou battery super factory is set to become northern China's largest lithium battery base, with an expected annual output value of 20 billion yuan.
