NIO Power opens charging network to Great Wall Motor's users
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 14, Wuhan NIO Energy Co., Ltd. ("NIO Power") and Great Wall Motor ("GWM") entered into a partnership on charging services, granting users of GWM's Haval, WEY, ORA, and TANK brands access to NIO Power's extensive charging network, according to a post on NIO's WeChat account.

Under the agreement, owners of these four brands can locate and use NIO Power's charging stations nationwide via the GWM app and the dedicated owner app, enhancing their charging experience with intelligent and convenient services.

NIO Power said it offers a fully digitalized charging process, from locating a station to payment. Through the NIO app, NIO Power app, and in-car system, users can access real-time information on station locations, pricing, availability, usage status, and user reviews, enabling quick and informed charging decisions. NIO's charging stations feature lightweight cable designs for easy single-handed operation and support plug-and-charge functionality, password-free access, and automatic payments for a smarter and more efficient experience.
NIO Power continues to accelerate the expansion of its charging and battery swap network. As of February 14, 2025, the company has built 3,113 battery swap stations and 25,467 charging piles across China. Its battery swap facilities have been operating along 9 north-west and 9 east-west main highways, and in 14 major cities clusters, connecting over 700 cities across the country. Besides, its battery swap stations now cover nearly 900 county-level administrative regions, with charging piles already available in nearly around 1,300 county-level regions.
