This follows the model's global debut at the Brussels Motor Show on January 10, with sales set to begin in Europe this summer. Thailand will be the second market for the MAZDA6e after Europe.
As the largest automotive production base in Southeast Asia, Thailand has witnessed a significant rise in demand for electric vehicles as the global automotive market rapidly transitions toward electrification. Mazda has been a key player in Thailand since 1955, with a solid brand presence and a large customer base. The launch of the MAZDA6e marks a crucial step in Mazda's electrification strategy in Thailand and will serve as a gateway to the broader ASEAN market.
The MAZDA6e's global manufacturing and quality control standards are backed by Changan Mazda's Nanjing factory, where nearly 1,000 engineers ensure strict adherence to global production standards. The factory also acts as a hub for the global supply chain, ensuring MAZDA6e's competitiveness worldwide.
Changan Mazda plans to introduce more models with cutting-edge electric and intelligent driving technologies to cater to global markets.
