Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 105,475 units, up 136.46% year on year, the first on April, 2022 auto sales ranking by all brands, according to the April sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 99,893 units, down 25.02% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 543,621 units. April sales of VW reached 68,172 units, decreasing 59.18% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 634,081 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
