August, 2022 auto sales ranking by China's OEMs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD Auto amounted to 173,977 units, up 155.92% year on year, the first on August, 2022 auto sales ranking by China's OEMs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of chery Auto amounted to 128,268 units, up 119.89% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 678,019 units. August sales of Geely Auto reached 118,256 units, increasing 31.89% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 842,739 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
