Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 216,341 units, up 22.60% year on year, the first on August, 2022 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 161,481 units, up 81.40% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 1,216,260 units. August sales of Honda reached 120,490 units, increasing 43.26% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 962,313 units.
