Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 262,571 units, up 50.92% year on year, the first on August, 2023 auto sales ranking by all brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of VW amounted to 192,425 units, down 11.05% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 1,328,798 units. August sales of Toyota reached 145,113 units, decreasing 10.14% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 1,093,881 units.
