On July 6, AutoX, a Chinese self-driving startup funded by Alibaba and other, launched its fifth-generation self-driving system, the Auto X Gen5, which has already gone into volume production, according to the company.

Honda’s China business unit announced on April 16 it has collaborated with AutoX, a self-driving tech developer backed by Alibaba, to explore autonomous driving solutions.
