Delivery of VOYAH FREE begins in Norway

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 28, VOYAH, the premium new energy vehicle brand of Dongfeng Motor, announced that it recently kicked off delivery of the FREE SUVs in Norway.

The first 500 FREE SUVs arrived at Oslo, Norway at the end of November 2022. Up to now, the automaker has delivered 136 FREEs to local users in Oslo, Trondheim, Hamar, Sarpsborg. 

As VOYAH’s first model in the European markets, the FREE has been tailored to Norwegian regulations and local demands. Starting at ISK$719,000, the FREE is installed with a 106.7kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP range of 500km. 

The navigation system on the Norway-specified FREE uses local mapping software and allows Norwegian owners to control the car remotely via a mobile application. Compared with the Chinese version, in addition to adapting the hardware and software to the European and Norwegian markets, VOYAH also redesigned the FREE’s body to provide up to 2 tonnes of towing capacity and offers a selection of trailer hooks as add-ons.

The first VOYAH Space in Europe was opened in June 2022 in Oslo, Norway. In November, VOYAH saw its first overseas flagship store in Trondheim, Norway open to the public. Following Norway, VOYAH plans to enter into the Israeli, Swedish, Netherlandish, and the Danish auto markets starting 2023.
